Educated Horses

Rob Zombie! I cannot believe that I never reviewed anything on musicinplethora that came from a harder rock/inturmental/metal artist/band.  I may have mentioned a few names like Marilyn Manson or Metallica but never did I write a review! I am a bit disappointed in myself for not sharing and recommending such great artists/bands.  Rob Zombie is going to be a great start.

Educated horses came out in 07' and it is my favorite from them.  A few instrumental tracks, a few screams, and a few heavy hitters; the best way to lay out an album.  He recently released hellbilly 2 deluxe.  It is not up to par with his old material, especially not comparable to Educated Horses.  Educated Horses towers hellbilly 2.   Now, similar to most metal/rock bands, its probably not the best idea to watch any of the videos or see the album covers if you scare easily, but the music will rock your world.  "american witch" and "foxy foxy" were released from this album and did quite well.  Zombie's tracks have always had the potential of inspiring a horror soundtrack here and there.  "the devils rejects" is a track dedicated to the movie directed by Rob Zombie, himself.  The movie not so great, very creepy, and of course kinda disturbing from time to time.   "Death of it all" and "100 ways" are my favorite.  It is full of metal and catchy as hell.  That's right, catchy.  If metal is not your cup of tea, dont be surprised that metal can be catchy.  After all, only catchy material can span and impress an audience.  And metal is no different.  Just give it a go and if it still is not hooky enough, then all you can do is say you tried.  But give it a go and you might be surprised at how similar metal is to other catchy songs.

Ultimately great album to listen to if you are a metal head, occasional metal head or pop fan.
