![]() Queen of the damned was released in 2002. This adaptation of Anne Rice's vampire novel series was given mix reviews. To me it was meteocre film. It was trite, like any other hollywood vampire adaptation. The quality can just go so far. However, the soundtrack is awesome. You have disturbed, marilyn manson, chester bennington of LP and whole bunch of other great bands. Every track is memorable and it remined me, rendered, which scene the track came from. The best track, and probably written specifically for the movie, Bennington's System was a felicitous complement to the dark ambience of the film. It was unfortunate that Aaliyah did not comtribute to the soundtrack. I would have wanted to hear some kind of a hybrid track. Im not a bid fan of Rythym and blues but I always enjoyed her music.
So if you are looking for some heavier tracks to chill to, then look no further. -k |
