What's the story morning glory?
One of the most beloved english bands of the 90s. Oasis have been around for a good while and have kept there music relevant for decades. Oasis is the very first band that introduced me to 90s rock. The very first song that i heard from them was "wonderwall." And this track was going on at the same time when i was still listening to bubble gum pop. Oasis' sound spanned genres. I'm sure if you asked someone if they have heard of wonderwall or champagne supernova, they would say hell yes, or would have heard someone cover those songs. now enough of my reverence to oasis, lets review this album.
Each and every single track on this album is great in its own way. The album opens up with a calm "hello" and hits it up with an upbeat "roll with it" and calms back down with some "wonderwall" and that is what really sums up the entire album. it has a great mix of fast and slow paced, tempos. some of my favorites besides "wonderwall" and "champagne supernova", are "dont look back in anger" (super chill), "cast no shadow", and "roll with it." What truly distinguishes Oasis from other brit pop bans is simple, the gallager brothers. They have a talent of keeping all their tracks catchy. when you have poppy tunes with rock guitar, it just felicitates with listeners of all genres and generations. they recently released a greatest hits album and i just couldnt resist it, even when i have most of their other albums. so thats it. the gallager brothers may have drama but thats the shit a band needs to make undeniably great music. so go on and bring back the 90s and "roll with it."
