A Crow Left of the Murder
Incubus' 2004 album was highly anticipated after the success of Morning View. I know it is an old album but every time I listen to it, it just gets better then the last. It's a classic, to me anyway. Their most recent release was a greatest hits album and I just cannot wait for their new stuff! Incubus have definitely grown from one album to the next. S.C.I.E.N.C.E, Make Yourself and Fungus Mungus are probably most eclectic when it comes to their music (with the funk and guitar riffs ,which of course are great); however with their last 3 albums, their sound has just enough funk and chillness that really appeals to a much broader audience. And with this album, they explored more of a political stand point, which is evident through the first track released "megalomaniac." It's a bit heavier and darker than Morning View. My favorite tracks are of course "megalomaniac," "sick sad little world," and "beware! criminal."
So classic Incubus is always awesome to chill to. You don't need head banging music and booze to chill to incubus. Sometimes I find wine is just enough to get you in the mood. And I don't even like wine. I am not, by any means encouraging you guys to be drinking alcohol, because it's wrong ;) Just chill to incubus responsibly.
