8 Mile soundtrack
The soundtrack to Eminem's life, the movie, anyway. This soundtrack is full of hip/hop rap and r&b songs that I am not usually drawn to; however, I could not resist. Eminem tracks are quite prevalent along with 50 cent, snoop dog, jay z, and xzibit. Those artists normally would not draw any interest on my part but with the addition of boom kat and macy gray it gave it some dynamic. I could not resist the loud and heavier tracks that Eminem belched out, such as rabbit run, 8 mile, and lose your self. The two female artists gave the soundtrack a softer and more melancholic ambience, which was a nice balance from the heavy and louder beats of the rappers. There are also some bonus tracks that with the album from 50 cent and a few others. fav tracks: all the eminem, "wastin my time"," 8miles of and runnin." If you saw the movie and enjoyed it, most likely this album would be attractive to you. The movie was not great but the soundtrack will knock you off your feet. If you like the heavier sounds and angrier side of Eminem (not like "real slim shady" or "my name is") this is the album to pick up. So go ahead even if you did not watch the movie and pick this up. There will be at least 5 tracks that interest you even if hip/hop does not tickle your fancy.
